Rovi is designed to help you rehearse difficult conversations, organize case notes, create partner profiles, and generate structured communication outputs in a calm, professional workflow.
1. Information We Process
Rovi may process the information you choose to provide when you use the service. This can include profile details such as your display name, avatar, and bio; your consent choices; scenario briefs; conversation inputs; saved notebook content; selected final versions; reflections; and custom partner details that you store in the app.
Rovi may also process images that you choose to upload, attach, or capture when using portrait creation or image-aware conversation features. If you use AI-assisted image features, prompts, style selections, generated image results, and related task status information may also be processed.
Some information is stored locally on your device to support sign-in state, saved cases, notebook continuity, custom partners, selected outputs, and related app preferences.
2. How We Use Information
Rovi uses information to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the service. This includes enabling scenario rehearsal, supporting partner conversations, generating structured output versions, saving notebook history, managing credits and feature access, maintaining account state on your device, and supporting account sign-out or local data removal flows.
Rovi may also use information to support reliability, security, feature performance, and service troubleshooting.
3. AI Features and Third-Party Processing
Rovi uses Alibaba Cloud DashScope to support certain AI-powered features. These features include text-based rehearsal assistance, structured outcome generation, image-aware conversations, image analysis, and partner portrait generation.
When you choose to use these features, Rovi may send relevant prompts, conversation context, and any images you choose to attach to DashScope for processing. If you start a portrait generation flow, Rovi may also send your portrait prompt and related generation instructions to DashScope, query task results, and retrieve the generated image output for use inside the app.
Rovi does not treat every action as an AI action. Third-party AI processing occurs when you choose features that rely on those capabilities.
4. Images, Portraits, and Multi-Modal Inputs
If you choose to upload or capture an image, Rovi may use that image to support conversation context, reference analysis, or custom partner creation. If you request an AI-generated portrait, Rovi may process your prompt and return generated image options for you to review, select, and save.
Images are handled for the feature you trigger. Rovi does not need access to your photos or camera unless you choose a flow that requires those inputs.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
Rovi may share information with service providers when needed to operate the features you request. For AI conversation, image analysis, and portrait generation features, Rovi shares relevant inputs with Alibaba Cloud DashScope so those features can function.
Rovi may also disclose information if required to comply with law, protect the service, respond to valid legal process, or address fraud, abuse, safety, or security concerns.

6. Local Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Rovi stores certain information locally on your device to preserve your session state, notebook entries, partner setup, saved cases, and selected outputs. Retention depends on how you use the service, whether you replace content, and whether you remove account data from the device.
Rovi provides local deletion controls through the app. If you remove account data inside the app, the service is designed to clear local account information, saved partner cards, and local session history from that device.
7. Permissions and Device Access
Rovi may request access to photos, camera, storage, or microphone where those permissions are needed for features you choose to use. Photo and camera access may be used to add reference images or portraits, storage access may support local file handling, and microphone access may support voice-based notebook interactions where available.
On supported devices, Rovi may also present system-level permission language related to limited tracking for feature reliability and notebook experience improvement.
8. Your Choices and Controls
You can decide whether to use AI-powered features, whether to attach images, and whether to save content inside the app. You can review the official Privacy Policy and Terms pages before continuing, and you can use in-app controls to sign out or remove account data from your device.

9. Children’s Privacy
